Piano Lesson

Recently I have decided to try and learn to play the piano. It has been something I have really wanted to do in the past but never had the money for lessons. I found these free lessons on youtube that have been very helpful in getting me started on the piano. This is the first lesson I have been practicing.

Photography

I went out today on a photo shoot. I really enjoy taking pictures and learning all the techniques and artistic touches you can create with the camera. When I take photos I sometimes will put the pictures in a video slideshow. Here is one of the photos I took on my latest photo shoot.

Different way video can be used

Thomas Edison first came up with the concept of film that started a revolution. I’m sure when he came up with the technology he never imagined the height of what it has become. I was sitting here thinking about ways that video can be used. I thought about how video cameras can protect you. That’s right they can protect you, its called surveillance cameras. Let It Be

The movie “Across the Universe” has a song originally written by the Beatles that has been redone with a whole new feeling. This clip from the movie was a great way to capture the feeling that the Beatles originally tied to convey. The song is “Let it Be” and I really enjoyed this video because of the feeling it was able to convey.

Learning the guitar

Video has made it possible to learn how to play instraments without a paid instructor. I love to play the guitar and many times if I don’t know how the rhythm of a song is or the chords to a song I just have to look it up on youtube or a guitar lesson site. I find it very helpful when I cant figure out a song to turn to a video lesson for helpful instruction.

Find what you like

Videos can be used in so many ways. If you need encouragement find a video to encourage you. In the mood for action go get an action film. Comedy? Movies, short films, and clips from home videos could be your outlet. I like to search for comedy clips on the internet when I have nothing better to do.

Mercy Me Music Video

A music video playing “I can only Imagine” by Mercy Me really struck me. The video had was shot in a sepia tone color giving an old fashion feel to it. All it showed was people with empty picture frames and some famed their self in it. The they changed and had pictures of their deceased relatives. I thought this was a great idea for this music video because although the song is powerful the visual  elements enhansed the feeling. When I saw the pictures of the relatives it really got me thinking of what it would be like to meet them in heaven and what a glorious day that must be.

If people like what they see they will purchase the image or video and you get paid in return. My brother just told me about this site and said that one of his friends is making on average $1000 a week. I’m going to try it and see what outcome I have with it.
